Get support from your friends and family

Tell them that you are going to quit smoking. Your true friends will support you and not offer you cigarettes. Your family and loved ones will similarly support your efforts to quit smoking and help you to avoid situations where you may feel obliged to smoke out of social pressure. Tell colleagues that you are quitting. Some company’s may even offer financial support as part of their employee health policy.
