Being able to benchmark the overall health of your employees can be a critical tool for strategic decision-making.
WWS and Sport Auckland can provide the following service through the Green Prescription ‘Healthy Lifestyle’ program tailored for your staff to ensure their wellness is set up covering:
- Physical activity
- Current health status
- Women’s and Men’s health
- Biometric measures (e.g. weight, height, blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol)
This helps to identify those individuals most willing to change their lifestyles, and allows the employer to offer specific prevention programs targeted towards these individuals.
Onsite General Health Checks
For a baseline height, weight, body mass index, blood pressure and pulse reading. This can also be extended to glucose and cholesterol blood checks alongside any of our other services.
Green Prescription referrals
Staff members can be referred for one-on-one support services consisting of a 5-day turnaround to be contacted by a Healthy Lifestyle Advisor. Face to face community program participation or phone contact for 3-6months in community facilities convenient to the participant. Goal setting, physical activity action planning, Dietician support with monthly reviews until the staff member is confident to maintain a healthy lifestyle independently.
